SNOWBOARD WINTER CAMPS
Here is Les 2 Alpes we benefit from a long riding season.
We offer snowboard camps from December to June, led by one of our qualified Ride Camps instructors.
This page outlines Ride Camps Winter Camps.
Early season camps are designed to get your riding legs going. They cover all riding techniques across the full resort of 2 Alpes.
End of season camps follow the same content, but include riding the snowpark with softer snow conditions.
Our spring camps are freestyle focussed and ride the snowpark daily on the glacier in May and June.
Visit the Spring Camps dedicated page for more information.
Our Winter Camps
Early season: Dec 2nd - 6th 2024
Our early season camp kicks off winter 23/24 for those itching to get on the first lifts.
New snowfalls, first lines, a great way to warm up your skills ready for the season.
We will work on techniques for steeps, carving, switch, easier off-piste (if conditions allow) and basic freestyle.
*Please note - on the first week of the season it is unlikely that there will be a freestyle park, therefore if your goals are more park and freestyle orientated, we would recommend looking at the camps later in the season when the park will be fully established.
End of season: April 21st to 25th 2025
Our end of season camps allow us to keep on riding until the end of April.
The days will be longer, temperatures warmer and the snow nice and slushy.
Perfect conditions to finish the winter season fine tuning your skillset.
Our 2 Alpes snowpark will be established and with softer spring snow conditions, we'll spend more time in the snowpark.
Riding techniques typically covered include steeps, carving, switch, freestyle and snowpark features (jumps & boxes) and of course take advantage of any late season powder if conditions allow.
All camps are aimed at intermediate snowboarders keen to make improvements and looking to share a weeks riding with like-minded others.
You must be confident making linked turns on blue/easy red pistes and be up for trying some basic freestyle and easy off piste if we have some powder!
Coaching
The coaching will run from Monday to Friday, 9am - 3pm daily, with an hour long lunch break in the middle.
You will be taken through some drills and exercises to improve your balance and posture and be set lots of challenges to develop what you can achieve on your snowboard.
You will be given continuous personal feedback throughout the camp to help you improve your technique.
Cost
Camp cost: 360€ per person.
You will need a 'big ski area' 5 day lift pass & insurance.
Find your lift pass on the 2 Alpes site.
Accommodation & Travel
Please let us know how we can help with your accommodation and travel planning?
We do not have set accommodation and have found it’s best to let you organise personally, as everyone has different needs and requirements. We do have a friend with a chalet who can offer shared accommodation at a very good price where many people on our camps have stayed in the past.
For more information about how to get here, have a look at our resort info page.
