Why Les 2 Alpes?
In 2017 we decided to move our family from Manchester to the Alps in pursuit of a lifelong dream to live in the mountains.
One of the biggest choices we had to make was deciding where to move to... so we set off on a summer road trip tour of the Alps in search of the best place for us to settle and Les 2 Alpes ended up being the winner!
As well as being a hugely popular snowboarders resort in the winter, Les 2 Alpes also has fantastic offerings in the summer.
This is what really sets it apart from everywhere else. While most ski resorts go to sleep in the summer, Les 2 Alpes thrives with snowsports on the glacier and a world class bike park.
Add to that the dramatic mountain scenery, multiple other sporting activities, and a large selection of shops, bars and restaurants, Les 2 Alpes really is the ultimate place for an active summer holiday.
It is the perfect location for the products that we wanted to offer through Ride Camps!

Charmaine - Administrator & Communications
Charmaine grew up at her local ski centre in Stoke-on-Trent and set off out of school sitting BASI Ski Instructor exams and doing winter seasons in the French Alps back to back with summers in Ibiza.
Meeting Craig settled her in Manchester and she found a new career joy in wholesale for brands, DC, Quiksilver and Roxy (Boardriders).
Boardriders provided heaps of inspiration to Charmaine especially about giving back to our snowsports community and she came away with skillsets she never expected to learn...but it was time to head back to the mountains and fulfil the lifestyle as a family in the French Alps.
You'll find her at the end of emails helping to organise your trip, on the hill with us and documenting all our adventures!
