SNOWBOARD SPRING CAMPS
Traditionally Les 2 Alpes opened access to glacier riding for a summer season in July and August.
Since 2023 this has been evaluated and changed to a spring season in May and June.
This is a positive change that helps to protect the glacier in the hotter months whilst providing much better riding conditions earlier in the year.
Our Spring Camps
Les 2 Alpes has the largest skiable glacier in France and is home to Europe’s best summer freestyle park.
Our Snowboard Spring Camps make best use of this and are centred around freestyle, riding the snow park daily.
Our camps are inclusive to all ages.
You must be able to snowboard comfortably making linked turns on blue runs and be able to use drag lifts.
Children wishing to come on the camp must have a parent available to make drop offs and pick ups.
Are you interested in taking snowboard instructor exams?
We have heaps of experience taking aspiring instructors through their exam pathways.
Our camp content develops your riding towards the assessment criteria.
Extra information can be found on our Instructor Courses page, or get in touch to ask us more.
Coaching
Coaching on snow will run from Monday to Friday each morning.
We usually take the lift at 7:30 / 8:00. The glacier closes at 12:30.
These are the areas we typically cover:
Flatland Freestyle
Jumps/kickers
Boxes/Rails
Switch Riding
Piste Performance
Carving Tricks
Expect heaps of personal feedback from one of our qualified Ride Camps instructors, supported by daily videos.
Thanks to the snowpark setup, riders can be working on different tricks, different lines & different features at the same time.
It means you can focus entirely on your personal goals within the same group.
Whether you are being introduced to things for the first time, or refining what you can already do, we will keep you challenged in a progressive manner whilst never making you do something you are not ready for.
Your afternoons are free to enjoy a holiday in the Alps.
Les 2 Alpes has so much to offer in the afternoons including a skate park, trampolines, pump track, mountain biking, water sports & more.
If you can, it's a good idea to bring a skateboard.
